Renewable Energy News
Republic recently dedicated the world's largest solar energy cover. The 1-megawatt project at Hickory Ridge Landfill in Atlanta produces enough electricity to meet the needs of 224 homes. Check out our press release and fact sheet.
This is Republic's second solar landfill. The first is at Tessman Road Landfill in San Antonio. Dedicated in 2009, the project has received multiple awards.
